Artemis PMT Ease Tea A Traditional Swiss herbal recipe for a healthy woman's cycle and hormone balance. The herbs contained in PM-Tea are:
Wild Oats: Wild Oats have been used for nerve complaints, uterine problems, bladder, kidney and rheumatic complaints. It has a high nutritive level and contains good amounts of silica.
Calendula: Teas containing Calendula have been effective for treating gastric and duodenal ulcers, gall bladder problems and indigestions. As well as this, it has also been used to help bring about delayed menstruation and regulate irregular menstrual periods.
Cinnamon: Has been used to stop vomiting, relieves flatulence. As well as this, it has a broad range of historical uses including the treatment of diarrhoea, arthritis, and various menstrual disorders.
Chaste Tree Berries: One of Leanne's favourite female hormonal balancing herbs, Chaste tree, or Vitex, is a hormonal regulator, that works on the Pituitary gland, the gland that tells all other glands in the body What to do and when to do it. Vitex influences the pituitary to increase the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH), the hormone responsible for increasing progesterone secretion. This results in a normal balance between estrogen and progesterone.
Lady's Mantle: Women in Arab countries believe that this herb restores beauty and youth - needless to say, it is very popular in that part of the world. Traditionally this herb has been used to stop bleeding and promote healing, to regulate menstruation and stimulate the appetite. Other benefits are that it can promote menstrual regularity reduces vaginal irritation.
Lemon Balm: Balm is a remedy for common female complaints, and is useful for all sorts of nervous problems, including hysteria, melancholy and insomnia. It has been used to relieve cramps, dyspepsia, flatulence, colic, chronic bronchial catarrh, and some forms of asthma. Balm has also been used for migraine and toothache, and, during pregnancy, for headaches and dizziness.
Yarrow: Yarrow has been used against colds, cramps, fevers, kidney disorders, toothaches, skin irritations, and haemorrhages, and to regulate menses, stimulate the flow of bile, and purify the blood. Chinese herbal medicine uses this herb for stomach ulcers, amenorrhea, abdominal cramps, abscesses, snakebites, traumatic falls and bleeding, and to reduce inflammation.
Excellent to balance the Female Hormonal System. Eases pre-menstrual tension, fluid retention and irritability. Helps regulate menstrual flow.

Directions: Take 1-3 cups daily an an enjoyable female tonic.
For full regulating and toning benefit, take 3 cups daily for a minimum of 8-12 weeks. Once cycle is satisfactory take 1-3 cups in the second half of the cycle for maintenance.
Preparation Take 1 teaspoon (1g) per cup (175ml), place into infuser, plunger or tea pot, pour over boiling water and infuse for 5-10 minutes. Do not microwave.
