Beetroot Hummus
This ruby red dip tastes divine, looks amazing and is really good for you! Not only is it full of protein, good fats and the wonders of garlic but it also provides all the benefits of beetroot, including supporting healthy blood flow, nervous system function and optimal stamina and endurance.
400 grams chickpeas (tin, drained)
4 cloves garlic (crushed or chopped)
1 lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tablespoons of tahini
90 ml olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon Now Beetroot Powder
1. Place all ingredients into a blender and process till smooth.
2. If it is too thick, add more olive oil to the mix.
*If you need a quick fix - just stir Now Beetroot Powder through premade hummus!
