Nat mur children are frequently serious. They dislike excessive physical contact and hate to be teased. These children often have frightening dreams about being robbed. Nat mur patients frequently suffer from digestive ailments, oftentimes from the suppression of emotions. The stomach is distended with gas, there is a slowness of bowel function, and digestion takes a long time. Nat mur. is a good remedy for indigestion caused by the consumption of rich food, which often causes green, watery diarrhoea. Symptoms are worse from eating starchy food. The Nat mur woman is greatly affected by her menstrual cycle. Her mental symptoms are increased before menstruation, and she may suffer from headaches, nausea, skin eruptions, weakness, back pains, heart palpitations, and pains in her abdomen and loins. The headaches typical of Nat mur. are centred in the forehead and temples, although they may occur at the back of the head. Headaches are often caused by emotional excitement, grief, anger, head injuries, eye strain, anaemia, or malnutrition. The pain is of a bursting or throbbing nature.
Nat mur works well for emotional problems, such as distress, restlessness and depression, which tend to occur because of the suppression of other emotions, such as fear and grief. Conditions characterised by secretions or discharge, such as colds, catarrh, vaginismus, mouth ulcers, nasal boils, acne, cold sores, and other skin complaints such as hangnails, warts, and a cracked lower lip are alleviated. In women it helps with erratic menstruation and headaches often respond well.

Acute: Take 4 drops per dose orally every 15 minutes for up to 6 doses, then 3 times a day as required.
Chronic: Take 4 drops per dose orally 3 times a day as required.
Keep out of reach of Children. Liquid and oral spray remedies are generally better given to babies and very young children than tablets. Tablet remedies are manufactured using a base of lactose (milk sugar). They are usually safe for diabetics, however professional advice should be sought if in doubt. They are not suitable for anyone with lactose intolerance. It is recommended that tablets not be given to babies and very young children. Liquid remedies are manufactured using a small amount of ethyl alcohol as a preservative in a water base. In a suggested dose (4 drops of liquid or 2 sprays of the oral spray) the quantity of alcohol per dose is so small as to be of no consequence. There has never been a recorded case of any harm coming to a mother or child at any time in pregnancy as a result of using homeopathic remedies. Likewise, there has never been a recorded case of harm coming to a baby when homeopathic remedies have been used during breastfeeding in accordance with directions for use.
