Heres what Ethical Nutrients have to tell us about Dreaming of a holiday?

Travel is becoming more and more accessible for all of us. Within a matter of minutes of logging onto the internet, you can have flights and accommodation booked for nearly anywhere in the world!

Holidays can be a fantastic time for relaxation and rejuvenation. However, getting sick while you're away can turn your dream trip into a nightmare! Traveller's diarrhoea is extremely common. It's spread via contaminated food and water and can easily ruin your holiday. Symptoms of traveller's diarrhoea include abdominal bloating, cramping and pain, nausea, urgency to go to the toilet, frequent passage of loose or watery stools, fatigue, lethargy and general tiredness.

It is often easier to get sick when you're in a new place as your body hasn't had a chance to adjust to the food, water and air in the new environment. However, a few simple tips and precautions can ensure you come back from your holiday refreshed and excited, not sick and run down. Remember that prevention is better than cure!
Are you spending your holidays looking at the back of the toilet door?

Dietary and lifestyle tips for the traveller...

Remember to start taking Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug for 5 days before you travel and to keep taking it whilst travelling.
Here are some other useful travel tips:

* Be careful what you eat, choose the cleanest places possible to dine, and try to find out what you are eating before you eat it.

* Watch what you drink. Water in many countries is not sanitised in the same way as the water supply is sanitised here in Australia. Various bacteria, viruses and parasites are commonly found in the water. It is advisable to drink only bottled water that has an intact seal. Make sure you ask for no ice in your drinks, and use bottled water to clean your teeth.

* Eat fruits that you can peel.

* Cooked vegetables are safer than salads.

* Wash your hands thoroughly before eating.

If diarrhoea persists for more than six hours in infants under six months - 12 hours in children under three years - 24 hours in children aged three to six years or 48 hours in adults and children over six years - seek medical advice.

Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug

* Question: Can my child take Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug too?

* Answer: Yes they can! Even infants can take this product. For any child or infant who can't swallow a Capsule, break open the contents into food or drink instead.

* Question: Can't I just take Inner Health Plus?

* Answer: Because Health World test the long-term stability of all our strains of probiotics, we have found that in tropical temperatures, Inner Health Plus may not survive unrefrigerated for the length of the average holiday. However, the microorganism in Travel Bug can survive tropical temperatures, at full potency, for at least one month after the product is taken out of the fridge.

* Question: What if I'm travelling for longer than a month?

* Answer: Travel Bug is only guaranteed at full potency for one month, however, after a month the product may still be effective as the microorganisms do not all die off at once.

* Question: What is the best time to take my Travel Bug?

* Answer: For the five days before traveling, take one Capsule before breakfast and continue for the length of your trip. If you do still end up sick whilst away, you may increase your dose to 2 Capsules daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Don't Risk Diarrhoea When Travelling

Nothing spoils a holiday more than getting sick! Yet this is one of the hardest things to control when on an overseas holiday.

One of the most common ways a holiday can be ruined is by contracting a bout of gastroenteritis or food poisoning. Some of the world's most beautiful and desirable holiday destinations are a culinary battle ground of foods our western digestive systems aren't used to. Food poisoning and gastroenteritis are usually a consequence of eating something that doesn't agree with us or is contaminated by bacteria we can't fight off.

Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug has been specifically formulated to reduce the risk of diarrhoea whilst travelling. Travel bug contains Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii), a probiotic yeast that if taken for five days prior to your holiday and throughout the entire trip, may help reduce the risk of diarrhoea whilst traveling.

This formulation can be kept out of the fridge for up to one month and comes in a blister pack, making it extremely convenient for travelling.

If you do contract diarrhoea whilst travelling, Ethical Nutrients Travel Bug may also be used to relieve or treat diarrhoea in both adults and children
