It is a water soluble vitamin consisting of three related compounds: pyridoxine, pyridoxal and pyridoxamine. It is required for the proper functioning of more than 60 enzymes and is essential for normal RNA and DNA and amino acid synthesis.
Vitamin B6 is involved in the energy cycle by activating the release of glycogen from the liver and muscles. For this reason, it is essential to physical activity. It plays an important role as a coenzyme in the breakdown and utilization of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It is required for the proper absorption on Vitamin B12 and for the production of hydrochloric acid and magnesium. It also helps linoleic acid function better in the body. B6 plays a role in the multiplication of all cells and must be present for the production of red blood cells and the cells of the immune system It also aids in the conversion of tryptophan, an essential amino acid.

As a food supplement for adults, one (1) Capsule daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Keep out of reach of Children. Limited toxicity in man - may cause skin eruptions, or worsening of acne vulgaris. Dosages of more than 500 mg, over a period of 3 years, may result in coordination problems, tonic convulsions, peripheral neuropathy which is reversed on discontinuation. Long term intakes of this amount of Vitamin B6 may lead to mild tingling and numbness.
