Weleda Cough Elixir is manufactured using traditional herbal methods over three days. The dried herbs are soaked overnight, and then boiled as a decoction. Raw sugar and malt are added to produce a syrup, and upon cooling the homoeopathic liquids are added. After filtering, it is bottled and pasteurised. The raw sugar softens the herbal taste and acts as a preservative.

Dosage

Take one 5mL teaspoon (child under 12 years) or two 5mL teaspoons (adult) in warm water up to every two to three hours, or as directed by your practitioner.
