Nature's Sunshine pH test strips help to test the pH of your saliva or urine. Todays society is plagued with a torrent of health concerns. Many believe that it comes down to your acid alkaline balance. With these strips, you can monitor your own pH level of your saliva and urine (as well as anything else). Testing range is from 5 to 9.

Understanding pH
pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The lower the pH number the more acidic the solution is. The higher a pH number, the more alkaline the solution is.

Your Body's Chemistry
Water is the most abundant compound, comprising 70% of the human body. The body has an acid-alkaline ration called pH (potential of Hydrogen), which is a balance between positively charged ions (acid forming) and negatively charged ions (alkaline forming). The body continually strives to balance pH.
During times of imbalance, however, body systems can become weakened and these weaknesses may manifest themselves outwardly. Because our bodies naturally use hydrochloric acid to break down foods and nutrients, the optimal saliva and urine pH for our bodies is slightly acidic, around 6.4-6.5.
These pH test strips will enable you to learn a bit more about acid and alkaline balance, as well as test your own level when ever you desire.

You can find out more about Acid and Alkaline with the 80/20 Alkaline/Acid Chart

This container of test strips will enable you to determine how acidic or alkaline your body is, via your saliva and urine.

Please note: It is common to find that if you are taking things to make your body more alkaline, that your mouth saliva may be alkaline, but your urine a lot more acidic. This will probably be due to you eliminating acid waste, so this is positive. Drinking more water will help to dilute this, helping with an even better elimination.

  • Remove one pH test strip from the package. Do not touch the coloured area.
  • Insert pH test strip into urine or saliva. Remove and promptly compare with the enclosed pH Colour match chart
  • Compare your result with the value and time of the day on the opposite side.
The best time to test your pH is about one hour before a meal and two hours after a meal. Test your pH two days a week, or whenever you want to know the pH of a fluid.

Keep out of reach of children. Test strips are not designed to diagnose a medical condition. If you have any concerns about your health, contact your healthcare professional.
