Enterosgel is a tasteless, mineral-based intestinal adsorbent gel that binds toxins, allergens, viruses, pathogenic bacteria, and heavy metals in the gut - and passes them out naturally with the stool within 7 to 24 hours.

Unlike activated charcoal and other binders, Enterosgel is selective by design: its sponge-like silica structure preferentially binds medium-size harmful molecules while leaving beneficial microflora, vitamins, and nutrients completely untouched. It is ingested but never digested - it does not enter the body’s metabolic processes at all.

Drug-free, tasteless, and free from gluten, dairy, fat, sweeteners, sugar, colours, flavours, and preservatives. Clinically trialled for both short and long-term use, and safe for the whole family including children from 1 year, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers.

Available in a 90g tube for everyday and travel use, and a 225g tube for family or long-term use.

Benefits

Adsorbs, not absorbs - a mineral-based silica gel that preferentially binds medium-size harmful molecules in the gut lumen, collecting and eliminating them while passing through the colon without being absorbed by the body itself
Out in 7–24 hours - ingested but not digested; passes out naturally with the stool, carrying bound toxins, allergens, and pathogens with it
Nutrients untouched - does not strip vitamins, beneficial microflora, or other beneficial substances from the gut; leaves the good while removing the bad
Clinically trialled - backed by clinical research supporting both short and long-term use with a high safety profile
Recommended for a wide range of conditions:

Diarrhoea - including bacterial and viral infections, IBS, and antibiotic-associated diarrhoea

Dysbiosis - detrimental bacteria, viruses, and yeasts in the gut

Allergies - food intolerances, urticaria, eczema, and atopic dermatitis

Indigestion - nausea, heartburn, reflux, and flatulence

Effects of alcohol - hangovers, alcohol poisoning, and vomiting

Detox - non-allergenic detoxification support

Selective by design - adheres to medium-size opportunistic pathogens, toxins, and heavy metals, leaving microflora to flourish
No conflict with medication - takes effect without interfering with medications; simply take it 2 hours before or after any medication or supplements
Good for travel - can be taken at the first onset of food poisoning or while travelling to support digestive comfort and help prevent GI issues
Suitable for the whole family - safe for children from 1 year old, adults, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers
Free from gluten, dairy, fat, sweeteners, sugar, flavours, colours, and preservatives

More Information

Enterosgel works through a mechanism that sets it apart from most gut health and detox products. Rather than being absorbed into the body and working systemically, it operates entirely within the gut lumen - the space inside the intestinal tract - acting like a molecular sponge that selectively captures harmful substances and carries them out of the body with the stool.

The active ingredient is polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate, a form of methylsilicic acid hydrogel made from 100% organic silica. Its three-dimensional porous structure is precisely sized to preferentially bind medium-size molecules - the size range that includes toxins, allergens, heavy metals, pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Crucially, this same structure is too large to bind the small molecules that make up vitamins, minerals, and the short-chain fatty acids produced by beneficial gut bacteria - meaning microflora and nutrients pass straight by and are left undisturbed. This selectivity is what distinguishes Enterosgel from broader binders like activated charcoal, which can strip beneficial compounds alongside the harmful ones.

Because Enterosgel is never absorbed - it does not enter the metabolic processes of the body at all - it has an exceptionally high safety profile and is suitable for populations where most gut medications or binders would be off-limits: children from 1 year old, pregnant women across all trimesters, and breastfeeding mothers. It also has no known conflict with medication, provided it is taken 2 hours apart, making it easy to incorporate alongside existing health routines without disruption.

The three-stage process takes 7 to 24 hours from ingestion to elimination: the gel is taken, binds its targets as it moves through the gut, and passes out naturally with the stool - taking the bound substances with it. The formula is completely tasteless and odourless, making it straightforward to take mixed into water, juice, or off the spoon directly.

Available in a 90g tube for everyday use and travel, and a 225g tube for family households or longer-term use.

FAQ

What is Enterosgel and how does it work?
Enterosgel is a mineral-based intestinal adsorbent gel made from polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate - a form of methylsilicic acid hydrogel derived from organic silica. When taken, it acts like a molecular sponge in the gut lumen, selectively binding medium-size harmful molecules including toxins, allergens, pathogenic bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and fungi, then passing them out naturally with the stool within 7 to 24 hours. It is never absorbed by the body and does not enter any metabolic processes.

What is the difference between adsorbing and absorbing?
Absorption means a substance is taken up into the body - entering the bloodstream or metabolic systems. Adsorption means a substance is bound to the surface of another material. Enterosgel adsorbs harmful substances onto its porous silica surface within the gut and carries them out with the stool, without entering the body itself. This is why it has such a high safety profile.

Why doesn’t Enterosgel strip vitamins and beneficial bacteria?
Enterosgel’s porous structure is precisely sized to bind medium-size molecules - the range that includes most toxins, allergens, and pathogens. Vitamins, nutrients, and short-chain fatty acids produced by beneficial bacteria are much smaller molecules and pass straight through the gel structure without being bound. This selective action is the key advantage over broader binders like activated charcoal.

Is this safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Yes. Because Enterosgel is never absorbed by the body and does not enter metabolic processes, it is considered safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As with any supplement during pregnancy, consult your healthcare professional if you have specific concerns.

Is this safe for children?
Yes, from 1 year old. Enterosgel has a high safety profile and age-appropriate dosing for children from 1 to 6 years (1 teaspoon / 5g, 3 times daily) and children 7 to 14 years (2 teaspoons / 10g, 3 times daily). It contains no gluten, dairy, sweeteners, sugar, flavours, colours, or preservatives.

Will it interfere with my medication?
Enterosgel does not interact with medication, but it should be taken 2 hours before or after any medication or supplements to avoid any physical binding of the medication in the gut before it can be absorbed.

What is the difference between the 90g and 225g tubes?
The 90g tube is recommended for everyday use and travel - a more convenient size to keep in a medicine cabinet or bag. The 225g tube is suited to family households or those who want a longer-term supply. Both contain the same formula.

How do I take it?
Mix the recommended amount into a glass of water or juice and stir before drinking, then wash down with more fluid. It can also be taken directly off the spoon. The gel is completely tasteless and odourless.
