Solgar Deglycyrrhised Licorice (DGL) Root Extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra), has been made by removing the naturally occurring glycyrrhizin from the licorice root. This process is important as the glycyrrhizin in the root may cause side effects like hypertension and fluid retention. By eliminating the glycyrrhizin, DGL helps to soothe the digestive tract and aid in healthy digestion. It is also known to help with fatigue due to its effect on the adrenal glands.
With 60 vegetable capsules, each with a glycyrrhizin content of no more than 1%, this product also contains a powdered base of PhytO2X®, a special blend of natural antioxidants including mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract, and vitamin C.
