Gin Gins Super Strength Hard Candy uses 30% ginger, which gives it a strong, warming flavour and explains why it is often kept on hand for travel or a queasy stomach. Ginger has a long history of use for digestive comfort and has been widely studied for nausea support.

The rest of the ingredients are there to create the hard candy texture rather than to add health effects. Because the ginger content is so high, these sweets are often used more like a convenient ginger remedy than an ordinary lolly.

How strong is the ginger in Gin Gins Super Strength Hard Candy?
Very strong for a sweet. Ginger makes up 30% of the candy, so you get a pronounced ginger kick.

What are these hard candies usually bought for?
They are commonly bought for travel, digestive comfort and that warming ginger effect after meals.

Do I need to chew them?
You can suck them slowly or chew them once they soften. Either way, the idea is to get that concentrated ginger taste in an easy format.
