Strauss Heartdrops
Nothing will get your attention faster than a brush with death. Jim Strauss had his in 1979 at age 57. After suffering a massive heart attack, his doctors told him only bypass surgery could save his life. As a seventh-generation-herbalist from an Austrian family that had been the village herbalists since the 1700s, Jim knew that many of the herbs he was familiar with had a long tradition of being heart, circulation and blood tonics. He also knew that his palate could differentiate the functions of many herbs by their exotic tastes, a skill he had acquired in childhood gathering and tasting herbs with his grandparents from the time he could walk.
Like the cobbler with terrible shoes, or the mechanic with the unreliable car, Jim had neglected his own health in the service of others. The most important herbal lessons Jim learned from his parents and grandparents were that, just as in cooking, balance and proportion are key elements in any effective "recipe." Applying his knowledge, his instinct and his fear, Jim was able to develop his now famous blend in a short time.
At 80 years of age, Jim has retired and "passed the torch" to his son Peter, who has been learning his craft at his father's side since he was a little boy. Jim still comes to the "herbarium" every day to consult and research, but Peter carries on the day-to-day operations and family tradition of helping people.

What can happen while you are taking Strauss Heartdrops?
Some May Experience:
Temporary Cholesterol increase: If you have arterial blockages, cholesterol levels can rise (perhaps dramatically) if plaque on the artery wall dissolves and passes through the blood into the wastes system. If this happens it will result in higher levels of cholesterol in the blood. This is temporary although it can last for quite some time (time frame varies per person).
Heartburn: The cayenne in the drops may cause indigestion or heartburn. If this happens reduce to 1 to 5 drops a day and slowly build up the dosage. Also, eat homemade sauerkraut, made from salt only (not with wine or vinegar) this can rebuild stomach lining.
Detoxification: Two out of one hundred people may experience signs of detoxification. The Strauss Heartdrops may remove toxins from the body these toxins may leave the body through pores in the skin and this may provoke temporary skin irritation (rash or pimples). You may also experience diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, or nausea. If this becomes uncomfortable, reduce the dosage to as little as 1 drop a day (do not completely stop treatment) until the detoxifying stage is complete. This is a very good thing since your body is getting rid of poisons in the body. Then resume the recommended dosage.
Blood Pressure: In some circumstances, a person's blood pressure may elevate temporarily. Normalisation should occur after 60 days. If your blood pressure is very high before starting the drops, start with the low recommended starting dosage and monitor your blood pressure regularly.
Some of the herbs in the Strauss Heartdrops include
Garlic is useful to help maintain peripheral circulation and improve general wellbeing. It is considered an ideal food in assisting with lowering blood fat and improving general heart health. It is also used to relieve symptoms of colds and flu, allergies, mucous congestion and to help fight mild upper respiratory infections. It is a good all rounder and an ideal supplement to take throughout winter.

Cayenne is considered primarily as a circulatory stimulant. Taking this herb will give more power to the circulatory system and can improve symptoms such as cold extremities, colds, flu, sore throat, arthritis, poor digestion, fatigue, headaches and indigestion. Cayenne is a herb that will feed the necessary elements into the cell structures of the arteries, veins and capillaries so that they regain elasticity and so that blood pressure returns to normal. Cayenne normalises blood pressure, influencing the heart immediately. As a stimulant, it can start the heart into action again and keep it going. Cayenne is one of the richest and most stable sources of Vitamin E, which is known to be a heart builder.

Hawthorne is known as The Heart Herb. It strengthens and regulates the heart. It is especially good for weakened heart muscles caused by age, and for insufficiency of the heart valves (angina pectoris). It alleviates Hypertrophy (enlargement of the heart) and fibrillation of the heart. It relaxes the blood vessels and this helps to lower blood pressure. Hawthorn possesses a unique balancing effect on the heart and circulation, thus qualifying it as a reliable support tonic in cardiovascular care.

Several recent German studies verify that Hawthorn will increase coronary circulation by dilating coronary vessels and strengthen heart and muscle tissue while acting as a mild diuretic (useful in hypertension). It also contains components which have been shown to improve tone and elasticity of arteries and veins. Hawthorn has been shown effective in nutritional support of angina, degenerative cardiac muscle, heart-related hypertension, myocardial weakness from infectious diseases of the heart, and as prevention from tachycardia and arrhythmia.

If you are currently unable to do many of the things that you would like to do, such as going for a long walk, digging the garden, chopping firewood, or even making the bed, then please read this carefully. There are two types of exercise: Aerobic (is when there is a steady expenditure of effort. Eg. walking, mowing a flat lawn, or cycling in a leisurely way on a calm day) and Anaerobic (is when there are short bursts of extra effort required. Eg. digging, chopping wood, mixing cement, or cycling up a steep hill).
We strongly recommend that you avoid Anaerobic exercise that you cannot do at the moment for at least 3 months after starting on the Strauss Heartdrops.

If you start feeling as though you could easily do these things (as many people do), and you want to increase your level of exercise, stick to the aerobic activities. If you do the anaerobic activities too soon, it is possible that you will experience a reversal of your feeling of improved health the next day.
