Clinicians Bladder Support contains D-Mannose, a water soluable molecule that is rapidly absorbed excreted through the kidneys. Both men and women suffer from cystitis or bladder infections, although they are far more common in women. Nearly 85% of urinary tract infections are caused by E.Coli, a bacterium that is normally found in the intestines. Such bacteria introduced into the area can gain access to the bladder by travelling up through the urethra. Studies have shown that bacteria in the bladder will preferentially bind to D-Mannose rather than the bladder wall and therefore be washed out in the process of urination. Specific for e coli related UTI (urinary tract infections) and to support healthy bladder function. Each 2.5 gram serve (2 measures) provides 1500mg of D Mannose. 50 grams.

One of the reasons cystitis is more common in women is because of the short length of the urethra. This allows for relatively easy transmission of bacteria to the bladder. Many women develop a UTI after having intercourse. A good way to help to prevent this is by urinating straight after intercourse. Bladder infections are characterised by an urgent desire to empty the bladder. Urination is typically frequent and painful even after the bladder has been emptied, there may be a desire to urinate again. There is a stinging burning sensation with urination as the urethra and bladder are inflamed and irritated from the bacterial infection. If blood is present, you have a very serious problem indeed, and immediate medical attention is needed. Please be aware that if you have a UTI, you should also take an acidophilus supplement, such as FloraRestore. This helps to replace all of the good bacteria. As well as this, you should follow a diet that is free of yeast, added sugar and all mouldy fermented foods and drinks. If pain or inflammation persists for more than 48 hours, consult your healthcare professional. The presence of blood in the urine warrants immediate medical attention.

INGREDIENTS:

Active ingredients in 2 level 1.25ml measures: D-Mannose 1500mg.

DOSAGE:

Adults: Take 2 level 1.25ml measure (using the spoon provided) in water every 2 to 3 hours during waking hours for 48 hours. There after take 1/2 to 1 measure once or twice daily for 3 additional days.
Children 4 years and over: Take 1 level 1.25ml measure (using the spoon provided) in water every 3 to 4 hours, during waking hours for 48 hours. Thereafter, take 1/4 to 1/2 measure once or twice daily for 3 additional days.
