The liver is a very important organ. It plays a key role in the body's natural self defence system, by converting and "neutralising" toxins into safe by products, which can then be eliminated. If the liver is not functioning properly, many symptoms of mental and emotional disease may manifest. The liver is one of the busiest and most important organs of the body. In fact, the liver does so many things, it is subject to breakdown in more ways than most other organs.
A liver breakdown or under activity affects every organ and tissue of the body. The liver is the only organ of the body that will regenerate itself when part of it is damaged. Up to 25% of the liver can be removed, and within a short period of time, it will grow to its original shape and size. The liver is capable of regeneration quite quickly after damage is done to it. It is said that over 3/4 of the livers cells can be damaged before symptoms are manifested in the body.
The Liver makes Bile, which is stored in the Gall Bladder
The liver is one of the most vital and versatile organs in the body, acting as the body's chemical laboratory, processing the blood that is poured into it. It has many functions in the body, perhaps the most important of which is its secretion of bile. It makes a pint of bile a day, some of which is stored in the gall bladder for release when needed for digestion.
Bile is necessary for the digestion of fats. It breaks fat down into small globules and also assists in the absorption of fat the soluble vitamins A, D, E, F and K - as well as helping to assimilate calcium. In addition to this, bile converts beta carotene to vitamin A and it promotes intestinal peristalsis, which helps prevent constipation.

The liver has one of the most dangerous jobs in the body. It receives blood from the small intestines, which may contain a number of poisonous substances. Toxins that arrive at the liver may include alcohol, drugs, chemicals from food additives, bacterial wastes, incompletely digested proteins, pesticide residues from foods and toxins formed in the intestines. The liver combines these toxic substances with other substances that are less toxic, which are then excreted from the kidneys. So in order to have good liver function, you must also have good kidney function. Taking a product such as this one cal help to improve general liver function and bile production.

Ingredients

Per 2 Capsules: Proprietary blend 750mg containing Oregon grape root, Ginger root, Cramp bark, Fennel seeds, Peppermint leaves, Wild yam root, Catnip herb. Other ingredients: Silicon dioxide (powdered silica), gelatin and water.

Dosage

Take two Capsules with a meal three times daily.
It is always best, when taking a liver cleansing product to start with just 1 Capsule and slowly increase to the recommended daily dosage over a 1-2 week period.
Use 2 Capsules with meals as an aid to liver congestion, jaundice, sluggish gall bladder production or frequent bloating or stuffiness in the abdomen.
